We started off strong with both teams having multiple scoring opportunities. Woking managed to get a goal in halfway through the first half, but Phoenix kept their heads up. We continued to get the ball in the D all throughout the first half.
During the second half, we powered through and after an overdramatic display from kp (because her thumb got smashed by a stick) and multiple shots on goal Helen managed to score the equaliser.
Final score was 1-1
With drawing to Woking(who were third in the league), it is safe to say that Phoenix performed incredibly, and we should all be very proud of how we played)
