It was a great final preseason game for ladies 2 on Saturday! Even in the heat, we played really well.
First goal came from Bethan's baseline run on the right and passed it up to Nisu who smacked it into the goal 1-0 for the first quarter. Unfortunately, Alton then equalised into the 2nd quarter making it 1-1.
Second goal came from Lizzie who smacked the ball at the top of the D and it smashed the backboard 2-1.
Third goal came from Ellie who did an amazing baseline run and then later another goal from Lizzie making it 4-1 to Fleet at half time. In the 2nd half, Alton managed to get 1 more goal but with moral still high, we worked as a team and it paid off with Tilly getting 2 more beautiful left post goals making it 6-2. Thank you to the opposition Alton for a great game and for our supporters and umpires and to Baggy in the side lines who was a great help and guidance for us.
