The second quarter was when Alton scored their second short corner, with Tom child responding not long after, slotting a shot under a diving keeper in open play on another counter attack.
The second half became close to a stalemate with both sides knowing what to watch out for. Most of the play being done in the centre of the park, with the occasional break that was stopped by the defence.
