Not much to say really, some hockey was played OG’s were quality as usual and put 5 very good goals past Nick Franklin. JI Knighton grabbed one back at the end from a short as a slight consolation.
The score line didn’t represent the game at all and on another day we could have 3/4 more. Against the best team in the league who are averaging 7/8 goals per game and have won 12 in 12 and are generally just a very good team we produced a very reputable performance.
MOTM went to William Caine for just being very good and controlling the middle “despite offering less aerial threat than the luftwaffe in the mid 1940s” according to Nick.
DOTD was yours truly, despite not even playing, for taking a wrong turn on the way through North Camp that once I’d turned around to go back was informed by Will that it was a one way road.
