Today the M1s Played Addescombe and won 7-2 in a must win match. With a great warmup (thanks to Miles for the speaker) we instantly started out on top, scoring two quick goals courtesy of Gus And OVK. We began to settle into the match and started playing some good hockey. After a class finish from Jack to make it 3-0 we went into the half time break. At half time we talked about the importance of depth and stepping in front of your man at half time(thanks Titch for managing) we went out aiming for more goals. Jib got a deflection from a short corner to make it 4-0. Archie H scored his first goal for the team making it 5-0. We kept our heads down and made it 6-0 with a strong finish from Miles. We then started to get tired and made a few silly mistakes, one of which from me where I got DoD because I tried to hit a first time ball and then kicked it. We conceded two unfortunate goals to make it 6-2. We got back on track and as the game came to a close Gus scored an absolutely beauty putting it top left after a class aerial and Wob from will and Archie R to make it 7-2.
