This was a mid-table clash and the game was certainly that, end to end throughout. We started off by trialing a new formation, I personally feel like it worked even if the scoreline didn't reflect that.

We started strong however unfortunately lost William Caine within the first 10 minutes of the game after getting a stick to the face (hope you're doing okay buddy).

The game was end-to-end stuff throughout with many chances for both teams. Some mistakes were made by both Stuart Hobkirk passing to their CF a couple of times for sure?. We got to halftime still at 0-0 with both teams having had chances to go ahead.

The halftime team talk was much of the same, let's keep doing what we're doing. We were doing what we manage to do against most teams in this league outrun and outwork them.

In the end, we lost 2-0, their goals came from a short corner, and the second right at the end of the game as we were throwing everything forward to try and get level.

Motm went to Chris Povey for his solid performance up and down the right, winning multiple short corners and dominating like usual.
Dotd went to me for and I quote "taking an age to get ready, and for getting a card".

Great effort from all the boys today, I feel we should have walked away with at least a point from that game but it is what it is, onto next week and the 3 points available there.
