Under 16 Girls reach EH Championships Semi-Final

On Sunday club history was made when the under 16 girls played their EH Tier 2 Championships Quarter Final against Bournemouth.

Mia gave the girls the lead from a Penalty Corner in a tightly fought first half, before Mia and Felicity added further goals in the second half to put FEHC 3:1 up with 4 minutes to go. A late Bournemouth goal caused some anxiety, but the girls skilfully ran the clock down to secure victory.

This was a well deserved victory against a very good opposition which was won with rapid attacks, tireless midfield tackling and passing, and determined defence. Player-of-the-Match was shared between all 14 girls.

The semi-final is on 20th March, against one of Belper Ladies, Reading Bs or Surbiton Bs.
