More volunteers and Dinner & Dance

All of sudden we have reached the end of the season. It feels like long season, since we have effectively had matches from last March. Local tournaments, summer hockey, mixed matches, league fixtures, friendlies and now we reach the end of the season. Hopefully we will see all of you at the Club Dinner and Dance on the 21 May at The Village Hotel to celebrate. Tickets can be purchased via the club website. Come down, talk, eat, drink, dance. The Chairman promises that speeches will be short. Celebrate the awards (and wonder why you didn't get one).

Everyone is welcome to attend, players, parents, friends, even umpires! Just because you don't play, doesn't mean you can't come.

Talking of awards, if you have a trophy, please can we have it back so that we can hand it again! We have a list of winners from the past couple of years, so we will be chasing them up. Trophies can be handed in to any committee member, or send me an email to or via Pitchero and I'll arrange for them to be collected.

Looking forward now, now is a good time to put yourself forward to help run the club. If you can help out in any role, then let us know and we can see where you can fit it. We are lucky in that we have a lot of people involved in running the club, but more hands makes light work. A number of people will be standing down, including myself. It is too easy to say that someone else should run the club, I'm too busy, etc. Even a little bit helps.

Thanks

Alan
FEHC Club Chairman
